Quarry and plant

Mining, sawing, polishing, selling and exporting, under one name.

The company's own description of itself is one sentence: it integrates mining, production and processing, sales and foreign trade. This page is that sentence in photographs, all of them taken by the company at its mines and its plant in Baoxing.

Panorama of the plant in Baoxing: steel-clad workshops, two silos, a glass office block, the gate with two stone lions and the company name in gold, mountains behind
The plant gate at the Baichunshu industrial cluster, Lingguan Town. The sign reads Sichuan Baoxing Hstones Co., Ltd, the company's own English spelling.

The place

Baoxing, the Oriental White Jade Capital.

The company describes its home as "the Oriental White Jade Capital, home of the giant panda". Its banner credits the title to the China Stone Association, and its own article on China's ten stone districts lists Baoxing fifth, for 汉白玉, 东方白 and 雕刻白.

The plant sits in the Baichunshu industrial cluster in Lingguan Town, Baoxing County, Ya'an, Sichuan. The mines are in the same county and in Kangding.

The mines

Own quarries, worked underground.

The profile page names the Daping Marble Mine in Baoxing County and the Kangding Carved White Marble Mine. The product pages add three named white marble mines in the Sichuan headquarters area: Snowflake White (H), Zhonghua White (H) and Royal White Jade.
